    Description

    A nice lot of vintage tees for your collection. These tees are 100 years old and are only 1 1/2 inches long.
    I've used a more modern wood tee (2 3/4 inches) for size comparison, it is NOT  part of the listing.
    In the early years, 1920's of peg tees, manufacturers were trying out different materials and different designs, notching a tee was an attempt to allow the golfer to have a consistent insertion depth.  In other words, tee up at the same height every time.
    Note: the collector that I purchased these from often "numbered" his tees in ink...which with some "elbow grease" the number can be removed.
